Business Manager

Murray is the new Business Manager, taking over from Anurag Nair in June 2019.  Murray comes to us having an interesting and varied career within a number of industries.

He started his work career at the Ministry of Education building a model for forecasting the operational funding for secondary schools.  A stint in the Corporate Banking divisions of Westpac – both in Auckland and Brisbane – followed.  He continued his banking career with ASB in Wellington, managing a portfolio of small business owners and residential property investors.

Murray then spent a few years doing contract work in the Sports Management field, followed by a stretch as the Executive Director of Croquet New Zealand.  During this time he also developed an olive grove and a boutique vineyard.  Most recently he worked as the Administration and Finance Manager for Woodnet, a forestry consultancy and management company based in Masterton.
